Job Description

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

Keyword research & strategy:
Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
Identify low-competition, high-intent keywords
Build keyword clusters and topical authority maps
Analyze competitor keywords and content gaps
On-page SEO optimization:
Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, H1–H3 tags
Implement internal linking strategies
Ensure proper keyword placement and density
Optimize URLs, image alt texts, and schema basics
Content optimization:
Optimize blog posts for SEO readability and ranking
Improve content based on search intent (informational, transactional, navigational)
Structure content using headings, bullet points, and FAQs
Assist in creating SEO briefs for writers
Technical SEO (basic level):
Perform website audits (crawl errors, indexing issues)
Fix broken links and redirect issues
Assist in sitemap and robots.txt updates
Monitor core web vitals basics
Analytics & reporting:
Track performance using Google Analytics & Search Console
Monitor keyword rankings and traffic trends
Generate weekly SEO reports with insights
Identify pages with deep impressions but low CTR
Off-Page SEO (backlinks):
Assist in backlink outreach (guest posts, directories)
Analyze backlink profiles
Identify link-building opportunities
