About The Opportunity

Opportunity in the Information Technology — Software Development & Digital Product Engineering sector. The role sits within an agile engineering organization delivering customer-facing web and mobile products, APIs, and cloud-native services. This is an on-site position based in India, working closely with product, engineering and QA teams to drive predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Primary Title: Scrum Master

Role & Responsibilities

Facilitate core Agile ceremonies—Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review and Retrospective—ensuring focus on outcomes and timeboxed execution.
Remove impediments and coordinate cross-functional dependencies by working with Product Owners, engineering leads, and stakeholders to unblock delivery.
Maintain and optimise team artifcats in JIRA and Confluence; ensure user stories are well-groomed, acceptance criteria are defined, and sprint scope is realistic.
Monitor Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) and produce transparent reports to improve predictability and delivery cadence.
Coach the team on Scrum practices and Agile principles, drive continuous improvement initiatives and follow up on retrospective action items.
Support release planning, coordinate with other Scrum teams (Scrum of Scrums) and escalate risks to programme leadership when required.
