Role Description The School Principal for Sri Sukhmani International School, Derabassi is a full-time, on-site position based in Dera Bassi. The Principal will oversee the academic and administrative operations of the school, including curriculum implementation, staff supervision, and student welfare. Daily responsibilities include leading teachers, monitoring classroom instruction, ensuring adherence to educational standards, and promoting a positive school culture. The role involves engaging with families and the community, managing school policies, overseeing admissions, and supporting professional development for staff. The Principal will also be responsible for setting strategic goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong Educational Leadership skills, including experience managing school operations and leading academic teams.
• Expertise in Curriculum Development and implementing age-appropriate, standards-based instructional programs.
• Effective Communication skills for engaging with students, guardians, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with Middle School learners and understanding of developmental and academic needs at this level.
• Background in Education, with a degree in Education or a related field; advanced qualifications such as a master’s in education or educational administration are preferred.
• Proven ability to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive school environment for a diverse student body.
• Demonstrated skills in staff mentoring, conflict resolution, and collaborative decision-making.
• Familiarity with local educational regulations and school accreditation processes.

Location Preference

Candidates residing within 30–35 km of Dera Bassi will be preferred.
