Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a SAP BTP-IS Architect with a specialization in PI-PO to BTP migration. The position is based in the Greater Kolkata Area, offering a mix of on-site work and remote flexibility. The Architect will be responsible for designing solution architectures, overseeing business process integrations, providing technical consulting, and ensuring seamless migration of SAP applications to BTP. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with stakeholders to define project requirements and driving innovation in integration strategies.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of Business Process workflows and practical experience in analyzing and optimizing them
• Expert-level knowledge in SAP Basis and experience with system administration, updates, and patches
• Proven experience in Consulting, including assessing client needs, offering tailored solutions, and delivering strategic insights
• Proficiency in Solution Architecture and design to develop scalable, efficient solutions for SAP PI-PO to BTP migration
• Strong skills in Integration processes, including SAP integration tools and cloud-based solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Prior experience in SAP PI-PO to BTP migration is a strong advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced certifications in SAP technologies are a plus

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP-IS Architect to own the end-to-end PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) migration strategy and solution design.

💼 Experience: 10–14 years overall SAP experience, with 5–7+ years in SAP PI/PO and SAP BTP-IS (CPI), including proven PI/PO to BTP migration experience

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Architect and own end-to-end PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) migration strategy and solution design.

Assess existing SAP PI/PO interfaces and design target-state integrations on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.

Define migration strategy, integration patterns, security, error handling, and performance standards.

Oversee development, testing, and deployment of integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Provide technical governance and design reviews to ensure solution quality.

✅ Required Skills:

Strong exposure to A2A and B2B business scenarios

Hands-on experience with major adapters like SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, JDBC, SuccessFactors

Strong understanding of security concepts: OAuth 2.0, SSH, SSL, PGP encryption/decryption

Good experience in Groovy scripts, XSLT, Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping

Hands-on experience with CPI pallet functions like Message Transformations, Enricher, Splitter, and other integration patterns
