We are seeking a skilled SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) / Crystal Reports Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools, Crystal Reports, Universe design, SQL, and data modeling, with the ability to translate business requirements into high-quality reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Report Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports and SAP BusinessObjects reports based on business requirements.
• Build interactive and analytical reports using Web Intelligence (WebI).
• Develop parameterized, drill-down, and formatted reports for business users.
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Enhance existing reports and create reusable report templates.

SAP BusinessObjects Development

• Develop and maintain Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT) and Universe Design Tool (UDT).
• Create and manage business layers, data foundations, and relational connections.
• Develop ad hoc reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform.
• Configure report scheduling, publications, and report distribution.
• Work with BI Launch Pad for report deployment and user access.

Database & SQL Development

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views.
• Perform query tuning to improve report performance.
• Work with Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, or other relational databases.
• Validate data integrity across multiple data sources.

Requirements Analysis

• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Convert functional requirements into technical report specifications.
• Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Prepare technical documentation and report design specifications.

Testing & Support

• Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot report issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide production support and resolve reporting incidents within SLA timelines.
• Participate in release planning and deployment activities.

Best Practices & Governance

• Follow development standards, coding guidelines, and documentation practices.
• Maintain version control and promote reusable reporting components.
• Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
• Support report migration across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports development.
• Strong experience in report design, universe development, and SQL programming.
• Experience working with enterprise reporting environments and large datasets.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
