We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Developer / Tester with 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence reporting, report development, and testing. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, testing, and supporting SAP BusinessObjects reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy, report quality, and compliance with business requirements. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and QA teams in delivering enterprise BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BOBJ Development

• Develop and maintain reports using SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports.
• Assist in creating and modifying Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT) and Universe Design Tool (UDT).
• Build simple to moderately complex reports based on functional specifications.
• Support report scheduling, publication, and deployment activities.
• Optimize report queries for better performance under guidance from senior team members.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Prepare and execute test cases for SAP BOBJ reports and dashboards.
• Validate report data against source systems and business requirements.
• Perform Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Verify defect fixes and support release validation activities.

Data Validation & SQL

• Execute SQL queries to validate report output and troubleshoot data issues.
• Compare report results with database records to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.

Production Support

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for reporting issues.
• Investigate report failures, scheduling issues, and data discrepancies.
• Support report migration across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Work with senior developers to resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.

Documentation

• Prepare technical documentation, test cases, test results, and user guides.
• Maintain report inventory and development documentation.
• Update knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and end users.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in gathering and clarifying reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects report development and/or testing.
• Basic understanding of BI reporting concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
