Location: Kolkata (Hybrid during establishment, On-site from Jan 2026)

Job Type: Full-time


We seek a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization, and the leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead & mentor a squad of Salesforce engineers- set goals, grow skills, and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture. Lead the team’s Scrum practice-facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; track velocity/burndown, remove impediments, and partner closely with the Product Owner to align work to outcomes.
  • Own delivery across multiple workstreams: scope, plan, prioritize, and ensure high‑quality releases aligned to business outcomes.
  • Translate requirements into robust solution designs and implementation plans; drive hands‑on development where needed (Apex, LWC, Flows).
  • Establish standards for code quality, reviews, testing, and documentation; enforce best practices and platform guardrails (limits, performance, security).
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT to deliver features that move KPIs and improve user experience.
  • Manage releases using modern DevOps (branching, CI/CD, automated tests) and maintain healthy environments across dev, QA, UAT, and prod.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and features; evangelize improvements and lead continuous‑learning initiatives. 


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of Salesforce development experience; 2+ years leading engineering teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools (Flows, Validation, Permission Sets).
  • Strong grasp of Salesforce architecture & governor limits, data modeling, performance, and security (profiles, roles, sharing).
  • Experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience (Community) Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns (REST/SOAP, platform events, external services) and error handling.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate clearly—both technical and non‑technical.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.
