About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Trainer with a strong background in Inside Sales/Business Development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in outbound sales, followed by experience in training, coaching, and quality management. This role is responsible for improving sales effectiveness through structured training programs, call quality audits, coaching, and continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver onboarding and refresher training programs for Inside Sales teams.
  • Coach Business Development Executives on sales techniques, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Monitor live and recorded sales calls to evaluate quality, customer interactions, and adherence to sales processes.
  • Conduct regular call audits and provide actionable feedback to improve conversion rates.
  • Identify training needs through quality assessments and performance metrics.
  • Develop training content, SOPs, playbooks, and knowledge materials.
  • Conduct role plays, mock calls, and certification assessments for new and existing team members.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations leaders to drive productivity and improve team performance.
  • Track training effectiveness through KPIs such as conversion, quality scores, productivity, and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with communication standards and process guidelines.
Requirements
  • 4–5 years of total experience, including:
  • 2+ years in Inside Sales/Business Development (mandatory)
  • 2–3 years as a Sales Trainer, Quality Analyst, or Sales Coach
  • Proven experience in outbound sales and customer handling.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, call quality frameworks, and coaching methodologies.
  • Experience in call monitoring, quality audits, feedback sessions, and performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in preparing training materials, assessments, and performance reports.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience training high-volume Inside Sales or B2C sales teams.
  • Exposure to CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
  • Experience in healthcare, ed-tech, fintech, retail, or consumer services is preferred.
