Job Description

Role Overview

Rays Education is looking for a dynamic Sales Trainer to enhance the effectiveness of our admissions and sales teams through structured training programs. The role involves designing and delivering training across sales, product, processes, and systems, while also driving induction programs for all new employees.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Training & Capability Building

  • Conduct regular training sessions for sales/admissions teams on sales techniques, conversion strategies, and counselling effectiveness
  • Drive continuous skill development to improve lead conversion and student enrolments


Product & Process Training

  • Train teams on Rays programs (NEET, JEE, Tuition, Repeaters, etc.)
  • Ensure clear understanding of academic offerings, value propositions, and competitive positioning
  • Conduct process training related to admissions workflows and internal SOPs


CRM & Systems Training

  • Train staff on CRM usage, lead management, follow-ups, and reporting
  • Ensure adherence to data hygiene and tracking standards


Induction & Onboarding

  • Conduct structured induction programs for all new joinees (Sales, Academic, Operations, and Support functions)
  • Ensure new employees are aligned with company values, processes, and expectations


Training Content & Program Development

  • Design training modules, presentations, scripts, and role-play scenarios
  • Continuously update training materials based on business needs


Performance Monitoring

  • Assess training effectiveness through feedback, mock sessions, and performance metrics
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted interventions
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Training / L&D / Admissions Training (EdTech preferred)
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer counselling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in CRM tools and training delivery
  • Ability to engage and influence diverse teams
