Job Description
Role Purpose
To act as a strategic HR Business Partner for international operations across the US and APAC regions, supporting business growth, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness for global solar operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Support the International Business Leadership to set up the entire Global Team (People & Process)
- Partner with business leaders across US and APAC to align HR strategy with business goals
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and capability building for international teams
- Act as trusted advisor to regional leadership on people and culture matters
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Drive manpower planning aligned to business expansion across geographies
- Support leadership hiring and succession planning for critical roles
- Partner with TA team on niche and leadership hiring across international markets
Performance & Employee Engagement
- Drive performance management cycles across US & APAC regions
- Enable leadership on goal setting, performance calibration, and talent reviews
- Lead engagement initiatives tailored to multicultural teams
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters across US and APAC
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR policies (in partnership with local experts)
- Support investigations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes where required
Compensation & Benefits
- Support benchmarking and compensation structuring for international markets
- Partner with Rewards team for annual compensation review cycles
- Provide inputs on benefits aligned with local market practices
HR Operations & Governance
- Ensure HR governance, policies, and processes are implemented across regions
- Support HR analytics and reporting for international workforce
- Drive HR process standardization while respecting regional nuances
Change Management & Culture
- Support organizational transformation initiatives across global teams
- Drive culture integration and alignment with company values
- Facilitate leadership development for regional leaders
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of global HRBP model
- Experience working across US and APAC geographies
- Knowledge of international employment practices and compliance
- Stakeholder management with senior leadership
- Strong problem-solving and influencing skills
- Ability to work across time zones
Experience
- 10–15 years of HR experience with at least 3–5 years in international HRBP role
- Experience in solar / renewable energy / manufacturing / EPC industry preferred
- Exposure to supporting distributed global teams
Qualification
- MBA / Postgraduate in HR
- Global HR certification (SHRM / CIPD) – Good to have

- Compliance adherence in all regions
