Field Sales Executive – Vizag (Microgreens Business)

Role Objective


The Field Sales Executive – Vizag will be responsible for on-ground sales, customer acquisition, and relationship management for fresh microgreens across Vizag city. The role focuses on daily field visits, order generation, repeat business, and consistent monthly sales volume under a franchise-based supply model.


Key Responsibilities

1. Field Sales & Business Development

  • Conduct daily field visits across Vizag city.
  • Sell fresh microgreens to:
  • Restaurants
  • Cafes
  • Hotels (HoReCa)
  • Cloud kitchens
  • Gyms & wellness centers
  • Premium home customers (subscription-based)
  • Generate new leads through:
  • Cold visits
  • Referrals
  • Area mapping and cluster visits
  • Convert cold leads into active, repeat customers.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with:
  • Chefs
  • Restaurant owners
  • Outlet managers
  • Take repeat orders and ensure customer retention.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with the team.
  • Maintain professional and long-term service relationships.

3. Order & Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with the operations team for:
  • Daily order quantities
  • Customer-specific requirements
  • Delivery schedules
  • Ensure accurate order reporting.
  • Support smooth and timely delivery execution.

4. Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain daily visit reports and sales tracking.
  • Regularly update:
  • Leads
  • Conversions
  • Active customers
  • Share on-ground market feedback and competitor insights.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Identify high-demand microgreen varieties in the Vizag market.
  • Track competitor:
  • Pricing
  • Products
  • Supply patterns
  • Suggest new:
  • Restaurant clusters
  • Cafes
  • High-potential areas for targeting

6. Brand Representation

  • Represent the Baghsheen brand professionally in the field.
  • Educate customers on:
  • Health benefits of microgreens
  • Usage in dishes
  • Freshness, quality, and consistency
  • Ensure ethical selling practices and correct brand communication at all times.

Expectations From the Candidate

  • Strong on-ground discipline and consistency.
  • Ability to meet minimum daily field visit targets.
  • Confidence in cold visits and walk-in conversions.
  • Strong hunger to grow in sales and earn incentives.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.


Eligibility & Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in:
  • Field sales
  • FMCG
  • Food products
  • HoReCa sales (preferred)
  • Telugu language mandatory.
  • Basic English communication preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Vizag city routes and restaurant clusters.
  • Comfortable with daily field movement.
  • Two-wheeler preferred.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling to restaurants or food businesses.
  • Basic understanding of fresh food / perishable products.
  • Good communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
