Lead Data Scientist

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist with 5–8 years of experience in AI/ML to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, machine learning model development, deployment, and optimization, along with the ability to lead end-to-end AI/ML projects and mentor a small technical team.

This role requires someone who can transform complex business problems into intelligent, data-driven solutions and contribute to the organization’s AI innovation journey.

• Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models for various business use cases
• Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights
• Build predictive and prescriptive models for real-world applications
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation
• Lead AI/ML projects from planning, execution, and deployment to final delivery
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and production readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and technical requirements
• Manage and mentor junior data scientists and team members
• Document processes, methodologies, models, and outcomes clearly
• Stay updated with the latest AI/ML trends, tools, and best practices
  

• Strong proficiency in Python / R
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, machine learning algorithms, and data science concepts
• Experience in SQL, data extraction, and data manipulation
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and analytical reporting
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to handle end-to-end AI/ML project ownership
