We're thrilled to announce the opening for Sales Manager- Partnerships (UP Region), reporting to the National Sales Manager, India. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market presence in UP Key responsibilities include driving sales and business development across various retail formats, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers. The candidate will oversee market expansion, ensure brand visibility, and manage pricing, promotions, and inventory. Additionally, the role requires recruiting and managing a high-performing sales team, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets. Success in this role demands strong leadership, a results-driven approach, and effective collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets set by the Senior Management through Partnership Model.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution channels.
- Drive brand visibility and promotions in key markets.
- Manage pricing, margins, and profitability in line with company policies.
- Oversee all retail formats, including traditional retail, modern trade, and departmental stores.
- Achieve agreed points of distribution of MHI brands within FL2/Retail and On-Trade Channel.
- Maintain, develop and grow distribution points focusing on visibility and correct placement in all outlets in order to expand MHI business opportunities within Retail.
- Target sales and marketing activities to outlets to ensure maximum ROI.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Negotiate and execute trade agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Track competitor activity and market trends to refine sales strategies.
- Ensure consistent brand merchandising standards through effective use of POSM and creative assets, with all activations documented and uploaded to the company portal.
- Monitor competitor activity / dealing / pricing and promotions within territory and provide prompt feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
- Execute promotional activities efficiently, within budget, and in line with brand guidelines.
- Partner with the marketing team to improve promotional effectiveness and operational efficiency through continuous feedback.
- Adhering to laid out processes.
- Drive retail business through depot/store managers
- Conduct regular retail audits to track market share, stock management, and execution.
- Focus on key volume drivers to build brand image and accelerate growth.
- Ensured strict adherence to working norms & practices Report / Analysis.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team on Partner’s Payroll.
- Set targets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and motivation.
- Build a results-driven culture focused on customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Drive “Liquid on Lips” by executing effective on-trade activations across outlets.
- Manage FTT and ANP budgets for brands at the state level.
- Contract management and quarterly analysis for the region.
- Maintain the organization standard Quality, distribution, visibility, promotion, price and persuasion at the outlet.
- Execute marketing plans in the territory as per the guidelines from marketing team, while working within company policies, resources and budgets.
- Set and deliver objectives in terms of width of distribution and retail universe by ensuring the availability of each registered brand. Manage the new product launches in the region.
- Monitor stock transfer from winery and BIO brands inventory management at each relevant TASMAC depot/distributor.
- Responsible for collection of all the outstanding form wholesalers, Retailer, Hotels, clubs, restaurant etc

- Experience: 5–8 years of retail experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or a similar industry.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster collaboration.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- A deep understanding of the luxury goods market, with a customer-first approach.
- Education: A Master’s degree in Business (Sales & Marketing) or a Hotel Management graduate.
- Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
