Role Description The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing and managing a portfolio of clients for international logistics services. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and promoting solutions in air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, project cargo, and door-to-door logistics. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating rates and contracts, and coordinating with operations and customer service teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends, track sales performance, maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support pricing strategies and customer retention initiatives.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain services.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, including the ability to build long-term partnerships and manage key accounts.
- Solid understanding of air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, and project cargo operations, with the ability to translate service capabilities into commercial value.
- Proficiency in negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear proposals and conduct professional sales meetings.
- Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and manage a structured sales pipeline and reporting process.
- Competence in using CRM tools and standard office software for documentation, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is also considered.
- Proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in the Mumbai logistics market or international freight forwarding is an advantage.
