The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development and expanding the client's customer base within the Hungarian market.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Hungarian e-commerce and logistics market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with e-commerce companies, logistics providers, fulfillment centers, and cross-border platforms.
- Develop a pipeline of potential customers and drive new customer acquisition.
2. Customer Management
- Manage key client relationships and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Understand customer logistics needs and provide tailored last-mile delivery solutions.
- Support onboarding of new customers and coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
3. Market Expansion
- Leverage existing industry relationships and personal networks to expand client’s presence in the Hungarian market.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of local commercial strategies.
4. Commercial Negotiation
- Lead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations with customers.
- Support the preparation of proposals and commercial agreements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of sales or business development experience in parcel delivery, last-mile logistics, or courier services.
- Currently working (or previously worked) at a major logistics or parcel delivery company in Hungary
- Strong understanding of the Hungarian e-commerce and logistics market.
- An existing network of potential clients within e-commerce, logistics, or fulfillment sectors is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in acquiring new customers and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English.
