Role Description The Sales Manager role at Desqoo is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth for ergonomic office workstations and workspace solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts. The role involves close collaboration with design and production teams to ensure client requirements are accurately captured and delivered, as well as monitoring market trends and competitors to refine sales strategies. The Sales Manager will also track sales performance metrics, provide regular reporting to leadership, and support the development of new business in target markets.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in sales planning, lead generation, and pipeline management, preferably in furniture, interiors, or workspace solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities, including client consultation, stakeholder management, and customer service.
  • Competence in negotiation, pricing discussions, and closing deals while maintaining a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and logistics to fulfill client expectations.
  • Effective communication skills in spoken and written English; additional local language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Experience in B2B sales, project-based selling, or workspace consulting is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software to track opportunities, prepare reports, and manage documentation.
