We are building the digital nervous system for India’s water and energy infrastructure. We have won an award for "Excellence in water resources management and innovation" by Central Government in India. We're scaling rapidly and need exceptional Sales team for Business Expansion.

Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Sales Managers to lead our Business-to-Government (B2G) initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of our AI-powered smart irrigation solutions across state and central government bodies, agricultural departments, and smart city projects. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of navigating complex government tender processes, building high-level stakeholder relationships, and translating AI capabilities into tangible public-sector value.

Key Responsibilities

* B2G Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales roadmap targeting government entities (NITI Aayog, Ministry of Agriculture, State Irrigation Departments, etc.).

* Tender Management: Lead the end-to-end bidding process, including identifying RFPs (Request for Proposals), preparing technical and commercial bids, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

* Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with IAS officers, department heads, and key policy influencers to position our AI technology as a standard for sustainable water management.

* Product Evangelism: Demonstrate the value of AI-driven precision irrigation—focusing on water & power conservation, and data-driven decision-making—to non-technical government stakeholders.

* Policy Advocacy: Represent the company at government seminars, agritech forums, and policy-making committees to advocate for AI integration in national irrigation schemes (e.g., PMKSY).

* Liaising: Coordinate with System Integrators (SIs) and channel partners to ensure horizontal penetration into large-scale government projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Experience: 1-5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development, with at least 1 years specifically dealing with government accounts in the AgTech, IoT, Infrastructure or Telecom sectors.

* Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of AI, IoT sensors, and data analytics. must be able to explain how an AI model optimizes a water valve.

* Tender Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), L1/QCBS bidding processes, and public procurement norms.

* Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for administrative officials.

* Education: Any Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agriculture, Engineering, or Business. An MBA is a major plus.

Compensation : Upto 40K salary + handsome incentives (basis deal closures) & Travel allowances
