Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi, focused on driving revenue growth for Amritara’s portfolio of boutique hotels and resorts. The Sales Manager will identify and nurture corporate, leisure, and group business, develop relationships with travel partners and key accounts, and manage a robust sales pipeline. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new clients, conducting sales calls and visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and coordinating with property teams to ensure alignment on rates, packages, and availability. The role also involves analyzing market trends, contributing to sales strategies and promotional plans, and reporting on performance against targets. Collaboration with marketing, revenue management, and operations is essential to deliver a seamless guest experience and support the brand’s growth in new and existing markets.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, with skills in account management, business development, and client relationship building.
- Strong commercial acumen, including skills in revenue generation, forecasting, and sales planning to meet and exceed targets.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present proposals, conduct meetings, and close deals with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, including pipeline management, follow-up discipline, and accurate documentation of sales activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with property teams and corporate functions, demonstrating cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, MS Office tools, and basic data analysis to track performance and inform sales decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in boutique, heritage, or experiential hospitality is an advantage, as is familiarity with domestic leisure and corporate travel markets.
- Willingness to travel for client visits, trade events, and property visits as required, and a genuine interest in authentic, place-led hospitality.
