Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Nagpur. The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and approaching prospective customers, presenting machinery products and solutions, and building long-term relationships with clients in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Daily tasks include visiting customer sites, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms within company guidelines, and following up to close sales. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support, while maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities. The Sales Executive is expected to meet assigned sales targets, provide market feedback, and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Ability to understand and explain basic technical features of machinery or industrial products to customers.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English and local languages, with clear, professional interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities, including maintaining accurate documentation and follow-up records.
- Comfort with on-site customer visits, fieldwork, and travel within and around Nagpur as required.
- Proficiency in using email, spreadsheets, and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Previous experience in industrial, machinery, or B2B sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
