SALES ENGINEER (Oil & Gas / Chemical / Fertilizer / Chemical Industry)

Location: Surat, Gujarat

Experience Required: 2–5 Years

Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical / Fertilizer / EPC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Preferred Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering

 

Job Description

 

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive sales for engineering equipment and turnkey projects across Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Fertilizer industries.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and end users in process industries.
  • Identify new business opportunities in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Fertilizer sectors.
  • Prepare technical-commercial proposals and handle complete sales cycle.
  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal engineering and execution teams for proposal preparation.
  • Manage tenders, RFQs, techno-commercial negotiations, and order closures.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations.
  • Maintain customer database and track project opportunities
  • Support marketing and business development activities

 

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of technical sales experience in relevant industries.
  • Good understanding of industrial equipment/projects and EPC business processes, process equipment, thermal systems, or mechanical components.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle clients professionally and independently.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Experience with Fired Heaters, Furnaces, Thermal Equipment, Project Sales will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and commercial documentation
