Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Engineer at AP Engineering Solutions. The Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities for vacuum systems, low-pressure air blowers, and related solutions, while managing and growing existing customer accounts. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and coordinating with internal engineering teams to design tailored solutions. The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate sales forecasts, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with marketing and operations to support overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to translate customer requirements into practical, engineered solutions.
- Proven Sales and Customer Service skills to generate new business, manage accounts, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience or strong interest in industrial equipment, vacuum systems, compressed air, or related engineering domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and travel to client sites as needed.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic sales reporting; familiarity with technical drawings and specifications is an advantage.
