Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist internship is a hybrid role based in Gurugram, with a mix of on-site client and event meetings and some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, following up with prospects, and supporting the sales process for weddings, corporate events, parties, and celebrity management projects. The role involves assisting in developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media and promotional activities, and coordinating with internal teams to prepare proposals and event packages. The intern will help maintain customer relationship data, handle basic customer inquiries, and support on-ground promotional events and branding activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to event sales, client servicing, and marketing in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Customer service abilities, with a focus on relationship building, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
  • Sales skills to identify opportunities, pitch services, handle objections, and support closing deals.
  • Training and sales management potential, including the ability to learn fast, follow processes, and assist in guiding junior team members over time.
  • Interest in event management, marketing, and entertainment industries, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Gurugram, including flexible hours during peak event periods.
  • Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
