About the role

Veritect is building India's most advanced legal intelligence platform, and we're looking for three regional leads — one each in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai — to own law-firm relationships in their city.

This role is deliberately broad. You could be a seasoned enterprise seller with deep law-firm relationships. You could be a young, hungry B2B salesperson who's sold SaaS or services to professional firms. You could even be a practicing lawyer or paralegal ready to move from billing hours to building a business. If you can talk to lawyers, earn their trust, and close deals — we want to talk to you.

What you'll do

  • Own the full sales cycle with mid-to-large law firms in your city — prospecting, qualifying, demo, negotiation, and close
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of firm opportunities, and forecast honestly each week
  • Engage decision-makers at law firms — Managing Partners, Senior Partners, Heads of Knowledge, COOs, Heads of Litigation — across Tier-1, Tier-2, boutique chambers, and senior counsel
  • Deliver tailored product demos of Veritect's research platform and VeriScribe drafting agents
  • Structure pilots that convert into long-term subscription contracts
  • Represent Veritect at bar associations, legal conferences, CLE programs, and industry events in your region
  • Bring market signal back to the product team — what firms want
  • Partner with customer success to drive retention, expansion, and referrals


What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of professional experience in any of these areas: B2B sales, account management, or business development (SaaS, services, publishing, professional tools)
  • Legal practice, paralegal work, or law-firm operations
  • Legal-tech, legal publishing, legal research, contract management, LPO, or legal staffing
  • Selling into law firms, in-house legal teams, or other professional services
  • Genuine curiosity about law and lawyers — you don't need an LLB, but you do need to enjoy talking to legal professionals and understanding how they work
  • Consultative instinct — you listen first, diagnose carefully, and speak in your customer's language
  • Strong spoken and written English; regional language a plus (Hindi for Delhi, Marathi for Mumbai, Tamil for Chennai)
  • Willingness to travel across your region for firm visits, court-complex meetings, and industry events
  • A self-starter who can open doors — through warm intros, smart cold outreach, events, LinkedIn, or sheer hustle
  • Based in Mumbai, Delhi, or Chennai


Bonus points (none of these are required)

  • LLB, CS, CA, or equivalent legal/professional training
  • An existing network at law firms or in-house legal teams (BFSI, pharma, infrastructure, IT/ITES)
  • Experience introducing AI, digital, or new-age tools into traditional environments
  • Prior experience closing first-of-its-kind deals or working at startups
  • Familiarity with how law firms actually buy — partner consensus, KM committees, fiscal cycles, per-user vs. firm-wide licensing
  • Comfort with modern sales tools (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI assistants)
