Position: Safety Officer

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering with Safety Certification (NEBOSH/IOSH/ADIS preferred)

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE by all workers and visitors.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and statutory records.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure fire safety equipment is available and regularly inspected.
• Liaise with government authorities during safety audits and inspections.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize workplace risks.
• Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
