Job Description

Job Summary

We are hiring a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a secure work environment at our building and high-rise construction sites. The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in Safety Management and have at least 2 years of experience in civil construction safety.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce company safety policies and ensure adherence to all construction safety regulations.
Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Organize and lead daily toolbox talks and periodic safety training sessions for workers.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports with preventive measures.
Maintain and update safety records, including inspection reports, audits, and incident logs.
Ensure proper and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain safe site operations.
Lead emergency drills and ensure preparedness of site staff for various scenarios.
Keep up to date with safety regulations, legal compliance, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil High-Rise building construction site safety.
Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Ability to identify risks, propose corrective measures, and ensure implementation.
Effective in managing emergencies and working under pressure on active construction sites.
