Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer role located in Panaji. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include conducting health and safety inspections, leading accident investigations, managing occupational health programs, organizing safety training sessions, and collaborating with the security team to minimize workplace hazards and risks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and expertise in Health & Safety practices and Occupational Health standards
• Experience conducting Accident Investigations and implementing corrective measures
• Proficiency in planning and delivering Safety Training programs
• Familiarity with Security protocols to support a safe and secure working environment
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
• Relevant safety certifications, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, are a strong advantage
• Previous experience in safety management within warehousing, logistics, or fulfillment environments is preferred
