Role Description The Room Service Waiter role at Chal Digital is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Room Service Waiter will take guest orders via phone or in-person, ensure accurate order entry, and coordinate with the kitchen and service staff for timely delivery. Daily tasks include setting up trays and trolleys, delivering food and beverages to guest rooms, presenting bills, and handling payments according to company procedures. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of room service areas, restocking supplies, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The Room Service Waiter will provide courteous, efficient service, respond to guest requests or concerns, and support other hospitality operations as needed.
Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact with guests professionally and handle inquiries or concerns.
  • Experience or familiarity with Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including serving standards and handling orders.
  • Basic Cooking knowledge or understanding of kitchen processes to coordinate effectively with culinary staff.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a punctual and reliable work ethic.
  • Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices; prior hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is beneficial.
  • Comfort with basic billing procedures and handling cash or digital payments accurately.
