Role overview
The revenue manager shall lead and scale our institutional, corporate, and partner-led revenue channels. This role is responsible for building strong partnerships, closing high-value deals, and driving long-term B2B revenue across our hostel portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute B2B sales strategy
- Identify, establish partnerships and onboard B2B partners (travel agencies, tour operators, corporates, universities, NGOs, student travel companies, startups, event organizers)
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and partnership agreements
- Handle end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, closing
- Design and execute B2B go-to-market strategies for new cities and properties
- Develop customized partnership models (corporate stays, group bookings, long-stay contracts, crew housing, student housing, etc.)
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks
- Handle key corporate and B2B partner accounts, their renewals and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Represent the brand at travel events, college fests, and networking meets
- Prepare forecasts, sales pipelines, performance reports and monitor partner performance
- Track leads, conversions, and monthly targets and preparation of MIS
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue and room night targets
- Work closely with revenue team for pricing and yield optimization
- Coordinate with operations, reservations, accounts, legal and marketing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration or related field
- 7+ years experience of B2B sales or business development (Hospitality/ travel preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, relationship building and closing skills
- Experience in rate contracting and closing high value and repeat business
- Comfortable with field sales and willingness to travel frequently
- Data-driven mindset with experience in CRM and sales reporting
- Strong understanding of pricing, contracts, and revenue models
