About the Role

CP Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual for the role of Revenue Accounting Analyst who thrives in a growth-oriented environment, enjoys analytical work, data accuracy, and contributes to operational efficiency within the oil and gas industry. This position plays an important role in ensuring accurate administration and control of lease and ownership data that supports the company’s commercial operations.

What You’ll Do

·       Analyze and enter Division of Interest (DOI) information

·       Apply knowledge of state production taxes and BIA/BLM exemptions for applicable leases

·       Review and interpret First Purchase statements

·       Review and maintain lease documentation and historical records

·       Analyze lease documents to ensure accurate system input and ownership records

·       Support internal teams with data verification and reporting needs

·       Participate in special projects and operational initiatives

What We’re Looking For

·       2+ years of relevant industry or accounting experience

·       Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

·       Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills

·       High level of accuracy and attention to detail

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

·       Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
