Role Overview


The Retail Operations Executive is responsible for supporting and optimizing the daily operations of retail stores to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high performance. This role works closely with store teams, management, and cross-functional departments to drive operational excellence, enhance customer experience, and support sales growth.


Key Responsibilities


Store Operations & Execution


  • Support day-to-day retail store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
  • Ensure store processes, policies, and SOPs are consistently followed
  • Assist in implementing operational initiatives, promotions, and store rollouts


Sales Performance & Reporting


  • Track store performance metrics including sales, productivity, and operational KPIs
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports for management review
  • Identify operational gaps impacting sales and recommend improvements


Staff Coordination & Support


  • Act as a liaison between head office and store teams
  • Support store managers with operational challenges and escalations
  • Assist in training store staff on operational processes and system usage


Customer Experience & Compliance


  • Ensure stores deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience
  • Support resolution of customer complaints and operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, brand, and regulatory standards


Process Improvement


  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Support implementation of new systems, tools, or operational best practices
  • Assist in audits, store visits, and operational reviews


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field

1-2 years of experience in retail operations or store management

Hands-on understanding of retail store operations and workflows

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-store environment
