Role Description The Restaurant Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Hotel Lajwanti in Palanpur. This position oversees daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring service standards are consistently met. The Restaurant Supervisor monitors guest experience, addresses service issues promptly, and supports team members during peak hours. Responsibilities include coordinating with the kitchen on food and beverage orders, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and assisting with inventory and basic reporting. The role also involves training new team members, reinforcing hotel policies, and helping implement initiatives to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership and basic shift management.

  • Candidates should possess clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Candidates should possess food & beverage knowledge, including menu familiarity, service standards, and basic hygiene practices.
  • Prior experience in restaurant or hotel operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic familiarity with point-of-sale systems and simple reporting is an advantage.
