Job Purpose:

Support reservoir simulation and reservoir engineering studies through model building, data integration and performance analysis to aid field development and optimisation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and update reservoir simulation models using black oil simulators
• Perform simulation studies using compositional /thermal/geo-mechanical simulators under guidance.
• Assist in history matching, model calibration and validation using geological, petrophysical and production data.
• Support evaluation of reservoir performance through simulation studies.
• Prepare simulation runs, analyse outputs and generate forecasts for development scenarios.
• Assist in integrating reservoir engineering inputs with geology, drilling and production teams.
• Support preparation of technical reports, simulation summaries and presentations.
• Maintain model documentation, assumptions and data consistency.
• Participate in post-study reviews and learning initiatives to strengthen modelling capability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in reservoir engineering or simulation roles.
• Working knowledge of black oil reservoir simulation concepts and tools.
• Understanding of reservoir fundamentals, production behaviour and different modelling concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to data quality and model consistency.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
