Job Description

POSITION: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE–PR&D

QUALIFICATION: MSC (Organic Chemistry).

Experience: 3 to 8 years in Process development activities

DESIRED JOB PROFILE:

The candidate should have prior experience in process development activities and good understanding of Kilo lab /pilot plant.
Processdevelopmentthrough Feasibility, optimization, Assurance batches validation, determination of critical process parameters and quality attributes,Process DevelopmentReport preparation, scale up and kilo lab.
To Study and modify reaction/process conditions in accord with QBD with a goal of successfulproduction of target compounds.
Organize work time so that several reactions are run concurrently. Use time efficiently toproduce target compounds with investigation of side reactions being normally given lowpriority.
Conduct literature searches for specific target compounds, structures related to the target compound, or to determine specific conditions for compounds and reactions. Keep abreast of current scientific literature and discuss new findings with colleagues.
Identify efficient and robust synthetic routes for the preparation ofNCE compounds Interpretation of analytical data to drive synthetic experimental plans and the ability to utilize tools such as Scifinder, etc for scientific literature search are essential.
Ability to handle batches varying from gm scale to kg scale.
Recording of experiments, observations and relevant data in Laboratory books.
Transfer the processes of APIs and the intermediates through scale-up, piloting to plant floor.
To prepare Technology transfer documents for new product.
