Research Analyst - Electronics

We are seeking a detail-oriented Patent Analyst with a strong background in electronics and electrical engineering to support patent research, analysis, and IP strategy development. The role involves working closely with R&D, legal, and business teams to evaluate innovations and intellectual property landscapes.

• Conduct prior art searches across patents and non-patent literature
• Perform patentability, novelty, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses
• Analyze patent portfolios in domains such as semiconductors, embedded systems, power electronics, telecommunications, and IoT
• Prepare claim charts, EoU (Evidence of Use), and infringement analysis reports
• Support patent drafting teams with technical inputs and disclosures
• Monitor competitor IP activity and generate technology landscape reports
• Work with global patent databases such as Google Patents, USPTO, EPO, WIPO
• Assist in IP due diligence and licensing support

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics & Communication / Electrical Engineering
• 1–5 years of experience in patent research or IP domain
• Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals (circuits, communication systems, embedded systems, etc.)
• Familiarity with patent databases and search tools
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills

• Experience with AI/ML in electronics, EV systems, or 5G technologies
• Knowledge of patent laws and prosecution processes
• Exposure to claim drafting or prosecution support
