Job Description

Job Summary:
The research process analyst will be responsible for setting up and maintaining automated data feeds using the client’s proprietary software, extracting data from client databases to support business processes. The role requires strong skills in Excel, basic understanding of financial statements, and proficiency in SQL. The candidate will ensure seamless data integration, accuracy, and process optimization while collaborating with internal and client teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage automated data feeds using client’s proprietary software.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from client databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain reports using Excel, utilizing advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Review and interpret basic financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
  • Collaborate with client and internal teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot data integration issues.
  • Document processes and maintain compliance with internal controls and client policies.
  • Support automation initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VBA).
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience working with proprietary or third-party software for data integration (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
