Job Description

Lead the research, design, and development of new engineering products, systems, and processes.
Conduct feasibility studies, material selection analyses, and performance testing for prototypes.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and innovation logs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs into production and manufacturing workflows.
Utilize simulation tools and CAD software to model, analyze, and optimize engineering designs.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory standards to inform innovation strategies.
Manage and document experimental data, ensuring compliance with internal quality and safety protocols.
Present findings, progress reports, and project updates to senior engineering and management teams.
Support intellectual property development through patent documentation and innovation disclosures.
Troubleshoot technical challenges during prototype and pilot production phases.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
2–5 years of hands-on experience in research and development within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management.
Demonstrated experience in prototyping, testing, and validating engineering designs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
Familiarity with ISO standards, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance in engineering
