Role Description

The Procurement Assistant cum Follow Up role at Sonakshi is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The individual will assist with managing procurement tasks, including processing purchase orders and following up on ongoing orders to ensure timely delivery. The role also involves coordinating with vendors and other departments, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring smooth purchasing operations. Attention to detail, communication with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies will form the core responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Purchase Orders, Purchasing, and Procurement processes
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to evaluate vendors, pricing, and quality standards
• Exceptional Communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to manage and organize documentation and maintain accurate procurement records
• High level of attention to detail and time management skills
• Proficiency in relevant software tools like Microsoft Office; knowledge of procurement software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical.
