Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate ICT lessons as per set guidelines using relevant books and recommended resources.
  • Teach computing skills, coding, digital literacy and software applications through interactive and student-centered methods.
  • Prepare lesson plans, assessments, activities, and projects that enhance computer skills and critical thinking.
  • Encourage participation in technology activities such as coding and digital literacy
  • Provide constructive feedback for assignments and assess student performance regularly.
  • Maintain an organized and inclusive classroom environment that encourages computer exploration.
  • Use audio-visual aids, digital tools, and creative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and academic goals.
  • Maintain academic records and communicate with parents regarding student progress and development.
  • Participate actively in school events, faculty meetings, professional development programs, and training sessions.

Criteria

  • Candidates with graduation in the field of Computer Applications and Technology.
  • Min 2-3 Years of relevant experience in Cambridge/CBSE schools.
  • Proven experience as an ICT teacher or in a relevant IT role (3-5 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java,), Coding, software applications, network basics, and educational technology tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively and develop good working relationships with parents.
  • Willingness to take on added responsibilities.
  • Self-management and ability to deal with pressure.
