Job Description

Stage-wise inspection of boiler components (headers, panels, coils) ensuring compliance with QAP, codes, and standards.
Duties include material evaluation, heat treatment verification, welding inspection, documentation/reporting, NCR resolution, and coordination with third-party agencies for witness inspections.

Perform detailed stage-wise inspections of boiler components such as headers, panels, and coils.
Verify material compliance and traceability in alignment with QAP and applicable codes.
Confirm proper execution and documentation of heat treatment processes.
Conduct welding inspections and ensure weld quality meets required standards.
Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation.
Lead the identification, documentation, and resolution of non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies to schedule and conduct witness inspections.

Requirements

Proven experience in inspection of boiler or pressure vessel components.
In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
Familiarity with Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and inspection procedures.
Strong understanding of welding processes, heat treatment, and material specifications.
Proficiency in report writing and documentation management.
Ability to manage NCRs and drive corrective actions.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external agencies.
