Video Editor

Role Overview

TTW is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage from events, interviews, and brand shoots into engaging content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form content such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and social media videos, while also being capable of editing long-form interview and event videos.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form content including YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social media clips.

Edit long-form videos such as interviews, event coverage, and panel discussions.

Cut, trim, and assemble raw footage into polished final videos.

Add transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, and sound effects to improve engagement.

Optimize videos for different platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Collaborate with the content and marketing team to understand video requirements and storytelling objectives.

• Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all video content.
• Manage video assets and maintain an organized library of footage and project files.
• Create engaging thumbnails and basic graphic elements for videos when required.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with Canva for quick graphics and video edits.
• Strong understanding of short-form video trends and social media content formats.
• Knowledge of colour correction, audio balancing, and video pacing.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Basic skills in thumbnail design and social media optimization.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with Adobe Firefly AI or other AI-powered creative tools.
• Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics.
• Understanding of YouTube SEO and video optimization.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Multimedia, Animation, or a related field preferred.
• Candidates with strong portfolios and relevant experience will also be considered regardless of formal education.
• Certification or training in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
