Position: Relationship Manager

Department: Retail Banking / Wealth Management

Location: Mumbai (Local candidates only)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (mandatory) as Relationship Manager in a Bank

The Relationship Manager (RM) will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of HNI and Affluent customers. The role demands strong customer relationship management skills, deep understanding of banking products (CASA & Third Party), and the ability to drive portfolio growth while providing superior service experience.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Management

  • Handle and grow a portfolio of HNI / Affluent clients through proactive engagement.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular interactions and service support.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and financial assessments.

2. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Generate new business from existing clients through cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets across key product lines including CASA, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Investments, and other third‑party products.
  • Drive digital banking adoption and enhance client wallet share.

3. Customer Servicing & Retention

  • Resolve customer queries with quick turnaround time.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure long‑term portfolio stability.
  • Ensure compliance with internal banking processes and regulatory guidelines.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Adhere to KYC/AML norms and internal audit requirements.
  • Ensure all customer documentation is maintained accurately.

🔹 Required Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in a Bank (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of CASA, investments, insurance, and other third‑party products.
  • Excellent communication, customer engagement, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work with affluent/HNI clients and manage end-to-end service needs.
  • Should be a local candidate with understanding of the local market.
  • Candidates with stable experience preferred; job hoppers not preferred.

🔹 Education Qualification

  • Graduate or Post‑Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Finance preferred).
