This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 4-7 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Mumbai

As a Virtual Relationship Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, understand their financial needs, and recommend suitable financial products and solutions. This is a target-oriented role requiring consistent follow-ups, disciplined pipeline management, and strong closing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Proactively engage with potential clients through cold calling, outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Generate new business opportunities by qualifying inbound and outbound leads.
  • Convert leads into customers by clearly articulating product value propositions and addressing client concerns.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong virtual relationships with clients across the lifecycle.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer financial goals and offering relevant financial solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and service coordination.

Deal Closure & Revenue Growth

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close deals within defined timelines.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and revenue targets.

Sales Pipeline Development

  • Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Track lead movement, forecast sales, and provide regular pipeline updates.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and take corrective actions to improve conversion ratios.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with internal teams such as product, operations, and customer support to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and MIS.
  • Stay updated on financial products, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in inside sales or virtual sales within financial services (banking, NBFC, fintech, insurance, wealth management, etc.).
  • Strong experience in cold calling, lead qualification, and deal closure.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA or finance-related background is a plus
