Role Description This is a full-time remote Relationship Manager role based in India. The relationship manager will support client acquisition and retention by assisting with client onboarding, understanding client needs, and presenting suitable investment and insurance options under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day activities include scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing proposals and presentations, following up on documentation, and ensuring timely execution of transactions. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, tracking portfolio performance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries. The Relationship Manager will stay updated on product changes, market developments, and compliance requirements to provide informed and responsible client support.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years in mutual fund distribution, wealth management, or a client-facing financial services role.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Basic understanding of mutual funds, insurance products, and loan offerings, with willingness to learn and deepen product knowledge.
  • Analytical and numerical skills to interpret data, prepare reports, and review client portfolios.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client requests, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with CRM or other financial software tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, economics, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
  • NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) — mandatory; valid ARN and EUIN (or willingness to obtain); CFP certification preferred for senior RM roles.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience or internship in financial services, wealth management, or banking is preferred but not mandatory.
