Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing and deepening client relationships across the firm’s wealth management offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding clients’ financial goals, reviewing portfolios, coordinating investment, insurance, debt, and legacy planning solutions, and ensuring timely communication on performance and strategy. The role involves conducting regular review meetings, preparing clear reports, and collaborating with internal specialists to deliver holistic financial architecture for clients. The Relationship Manager will address client queries, proactively identify opportunities for improving financial outcomes, and uphold the firm’s standards of transparency, integrity, and education-focused engagement. This position requires consistent on-site collaboration with colleagues and direct interaction with clients to provide high-touch, personalized service.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to explain financial concepts in clear, simple language.
- Knowledge of mutual funds, wealth management, investments, insurance.
- Proficiency in using financial tools, spreadsheets, and systems to track client portfolios and interactions.
- Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills in english and a native language, with strong presentation and reporting abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable financial strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, economics, or a related discipline; relevant certifications in financial planning or wealth management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in relationship management, financial advisory, banking, or wealth management is preferred.
