Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Position TasksSales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
  • Drive business growth across project, retail, and specification segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and key decision-makers.
  • Identify potential markets, customers, and new business opportunities within the region.Channel Partner Development
  • Identify potential channel partners and appoint, manage, and develop dealers and distributors across the region.
  • Drive business through channel partners by ensuring product visibility, engagement, and support.
  • Monitor channel performance and implement actions to improve sales productivity.Project & Commercial Management
  • Prepare quotations and support customers with product selection and technical inputs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely order processing, delivery, and installation support to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, manage pricing variations, and close sales in line with company policies.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments to ensure healthy receivables and adherence to credit norms.Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor 1 Business Development Manager (BDM) to achieve regional objectives.
  • Set targets, review performance, and provide regular coaching and guidance.
  • Ensure effective territory coverage and disciplined sales execution.Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Conduct regular market visits and gather insights on competition, pricing, and customer trends.
  • Share market feedback and customer inputs to support product development and promotional planning.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and MIS for management review.


The Successful Applicant

Education:

  • Graduate (B.Com or equivalent); MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.Experience:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Proven experience in regional sales management and team handling.
  • Background in premium/luxury products, sanitaryware, building materials, or allied industries preferred.Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of project sales and channel management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and people management capability.
  • Commercial acumen with focus on profitability and receivables.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
