Job Description
Job Title: Regional Operations Lead
The Regional Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the overall operational framework within a specific geographic region. You will ensure the seamless execution of all middle and back-office functions—including trade settlement, clearing, regulatory reporting, and client onboarding—while strictly adhering to regional financial regulations.
Your primary objective is to drive business scalability, effectively mitigate operational risks, and lead a high-performing team to robustly support the company's business growth within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence:Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of trade processing, cash management, and reconciliation processes.
Strategic Leadership:Implement global operational standards while flexibly adapting and tailoring them to suit specific local market conditions and regional business requirements.
Risk & Compliance:Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all operational activities align with regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FCA, MAS, or HKMA). Manage the region's Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
Process Transformation: Identify bottlenecks within current business workflows and introduce automation tools (such as AI/RPA) to minimize human error and enhance the efficiency and success rate of Straight-Through Processing (STP).
Stakeholder Management:Serve as the primary liaison between regional business leaders and global technology/product teams, ensuring that operational capabilities remain closely aligned with commercial objectives.
- Vendor Management:Oversee the performance of third-party service providers, custodians, and outsourcing partners, ensuring that all services meet established Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.
