Job Description

Our client is India's leading Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) company specializing in turnkey PEB solutions for industrial, commercial and institutional clients. The company is listed in NSE and BSE.


Role Summary: Lad sales and business development across the East region, drive project acquisition, manage key accounts, and deliver revenue and margin targets by executing regional sales plans and building high‑performance local teams.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead end-to-end sales operations for the East region, including strategy, planning, forecasting and P&L accountability for assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue, margin and market-share targets for PEB projects.
  • Identify, pursue and close medium-to-large project opportunities (industrial, commercial, institutional) through tendering, direct client engagement and developer/consultant relationships.
  • Manage and grow key accounts (EPCs, developers, industrial clients, government bodies, consultants) to maximize repeat business and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with specifiers, architects, consultants, contractors and government stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms, contracts and project delivery milestones in coordination with legal, pricing and project teams.
  • Coordinate with estimations, engineering, production and project execution teams to ensure timely bids, accurate costing and on-time project handover.
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity and pricing; recommend product, pricing or service adjustments.
  • Recruit, mentor and manage regional sales teams; set targets, KPIs and drive performance.
  • Ensure CRM hygiene, accurate pipeline management and regular reporting to corporate sales leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client forums across the region.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience


  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the building materials / PEB / steel structures / construction products industry with progressive sales leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of selling and closing project sales (PEB/steel/industrial buildings) and managing large key accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and experience with tendering and contract management.
  • Experience in leading teams, regional sales planning and P&L responsibility.
  • Ready to travel extensively across the East region.

  • Strong network with developers, EPC contractors, consultants and government procurement teams in East India.
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and drive results in a matrix environment.
  • Data-driven, organized, results-oriented with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
