Job Description
This position is of Regional Head of PIRE of Energy Solutions division and will be responsible for:
1. Business Results
- Drive Business Growth & Profitability for Power Infra & Renewable Energy (PIRE) Businesses to achieve ABP & SBP targets of specified region
- Achieve Financial Results on Revenue, Working Capital, EBIT, NOS & ROCE . Identify key initiatives & Deliver on the same.
- Achieve Execution excellence through timely completion of all projects in the region
- Develop Business strategy for PIRE business in the region in line with the Divisional Vision, Mission & drive Profitable growth as per ABP & SBP
- TOC principles & robust Project Management processes.
- Drive Collection efficiency through structured review processes & achieve desired working capital block & improve working capital turns in line with the industry leader.
2. Process Institutionalization
- Develop Robust Planning & Project Management process framework in line with TOC principle & achieve execution excellence.
- Forge Strategic Partnership to win Tenders & improve QR to achieve growth in the chosen segment.
- Achieve Timely Project execution that includes cost, Quality & compliance through effective Project Management processes & robust review system
- Drive initiatives to reduce fixed cost & operational costs to improve Project EBIT in line with the industry leader & achieve operational excellence through productivity enhancement and speed of execution
- Develop strong processes & controls to achieve desired quality & compliances.
3. Sustainable Business Growth
- Build a strong network of Customers, Project Partners & Design Associates
- Drive Sales, Marketing, Brand Positioning & Business Development in line with the Divisional strategy
- Put a framework that enables incisive Business analytics & competitive Benchmarking
- Develop a key strategic Customer Accounts and deeply engage them through a strong Key Account Management- process.
- Achieve Order Bank in the chosen segment as per the plan through strategic bidding process
- Develop Capabilities in Design & Engineering in the chosen segment of EHV & Solar to support pre-tendering and post-tendering project execution.
- Develop Sales, Marketing & Branding strategies for Solar vertical & grow business as per the plan.
- Expand Product portfolio & explore international market opportunity
- Identify key partners & forge strategic tie-up to achieve Qualification credentials to qualify in key tenders & also to build long term sustainable partnership to drive growth.
- Build strong connect with the key customers through systematic KAM processes & maintain long term relationship.
- Benchmark best in class in the industry for key financial parameters as well as processes
4. Organizational initiatives
- Drive Organizational initiatives like Business Excellence, IMS, Kaizen, PMO & Safety, Quality Circle
- Imbibe Kaizen & PMO culture to drive improvements & achieve additional savings.
- Ensure all Regulatory & Statutory compliances from Sub-contractors & develop strong audit process for effective monitoring
- Build Safety culture at all project sites & drive compliances to achieve zero incident
- Build a leadership pipeline at all key functions
- Drive performance culture & create a vibrant team to enhance productivity
- Team Building, People development and Talent Management
- Develop, ensure & cultivate uniform Godrej culture & values across all teams
Requisite Qualifications
Essential – Degree in Engineering
Preferred - Degree in Engineering with Post Graduation Qualification in Management
Requisite Experience
Essential –
Minimum 18 years of work experience in Power Infrastructure Projects (Business Development, Engineering, Project Execution etc) out of which 5 years in handling P&L responsibility
Preferred -
- Relevant work experience in project management
- Multi Functional Experience
- Business Development or Execution responsibility for an LOB
