We have an urgent opening for Regional Business Head.

Working days: 6 Days (2nd & 4th Saturday off)

Office time: 9:30 to 6:30 pm

Interview process: 3 - 4 rounds; initial rounds via VC and final round F2F

Job Location: Mumbai, Chandigarh & Bangalore / Hyderabad

Company is India’s first and only Fintech aggregator platform built and designed exclusively for former/retired bankers. The platform redeploys India’s pool of experienced former bankers, leveraging their diverse regulatory expertise, credit knowledge, and grassroots understanding of financial ecosystems. It also serves as a unified lending interface (ULI), facilitating lending solutions such as personal, car, home, LAP, unsecured business loans, and loans against mutual funds and shares.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Business Head to drive aggressive market expansion, strategic sales, and business development. The role requires hands-on experience in high-value client acquisition, development of regional partnerships, and revenue generation through cross-selling FINTECH-led wealth and lending solutions. As a leader in a fast-growing startup, you will build and scale a high-performance team and foster a performance-oriented culture.

Experience & Qualifications

10+ years in Corporate Finance, Corporate & Branch Banking, Wealth Management or related BFSI roles.

CTC: As per industry standards (includes fixed compensation, PLI, ESOPs per company policy).

Qualifications: MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA / CFA / PGDM or equivalent qualification in Finance, Banking, or Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own P&L for the assigned region: drive revenue growth, manage costs and ensure profitability.
  • Lead end-to-end client acquisition: lead generation, relationship management, deal structuring and closure.
  • Source and execute deals, coordinating credit appraisals for long- and short-term debt (fund and non-fund based).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, family offices, AIFs and other financial institutions to strengthen sourcing and execution.
  • Leverage and expand a strong banker network; build strategic partnerships to ensure sustained deal flow.
  • Build and scale regional revenue pipelines by cross-selling FINTECH-enabled wealth management and lending solutions.
  • Coordinate with investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders to prepare and close transaction documentation.
  • Identify, evaluate, onboard and manage FINTECH, NBFC and allied partners to enhance regional reach and service offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and due diligence processes throughout the deal lifecycle.

Must Have / Required Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, branch banking, wealth management or financial advisory within Banks, NBFCs or Financial Institutions.
  • Proven track record in P&L ownership, high-value client acquisition and deal execution.
  • Strong relationship management with banks, NBFCs, family offices, AIFs and investor circles.
  • Experience with credit appraisal, debt structuring (fund-based & non-fund based) and transaction documentation.
  • Familiarity with FINTECH ecosystem, startup exposure and cross-selling of digital wealth/lending products.
  • Analytical mindset with strong financial modelling, credit risk assessment and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and leadership skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements (KYC/AML, banking regulations) and due diligence processes.
