Job Description

Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives in our shipping and logistics operations. This role involves managing end-to-end reporting workflows, uncovering operational insights, and driving efficiency through advanced analytics using tools like Power BI, Python, Excel, and SQL.Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and automation of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and dashboards.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources including ERP, TMS, WMS, and CRM systems.
Build and maintain robust Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX and Power Query logic.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale logistics datasets.
Use Python for data wrangling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling (e.g., demand forecasting, route optimization).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and IT to align reporting with business goals.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
Mentor fellow analysts and contribute to data governance and best practices.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with logistics platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS, Manhattan WMS).
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of machine learning techniques for logistics optimization.
Certification in Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, or related field.
4+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in shipping, logistics, or supply chain domains.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python.
Strong understanding of logistics KPIs, supply chain metrics, and operational workflows.
Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple systems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
